Work Shouldn’t Hurt Clinic

Work Shouldn’t Hurt clinics are active self-treatment workshops. Not a “one size fits all” concept, Work Shouldn’t Hurt clinics are designed to help each attendee discover how to release the muscles that cause pain, so it doesn’t ultimately become debilitating.

The clinics are presented to groups of individuals who may work for the same company or are members in the same organization. Designed specifically for your group, each clinic is focusing primarily on the muscles your group repetitively strains. Perhaps your group sits for hours at a time and works on a computer. In this case the clinic would address the muscles of the neck, shoulders, arms, hands, low back, and sciatica.

If your group does manual labor such as lifting, carrying, or moving heavy objects, Julie looks at the work being done and designs the clinic to minimize the impact of heavy manual labor so you can function at work without requiring daily doses of pain meds or suffering from long-term pain.

The results are amazing! The most important aspect of the workshop is that you learn how to find and treat the specific spasms that are causing you pain. As a result, you have the ability to stop pain before it becomes a problem. You’ll also learn how to stretch and move differently to avoid future pain.

The Pain-free Athlete Clinics

The Pain-Free Athlete clinics are open to athletes from beginner to Olympic level. Julie talks to your group and discovers your needs based on the painful situations you are describing. She then puts the self-treatments into a logical sequence to enable each individual to get maximum benefit.

Fun, highly interactive, and filled with easy-to-do techniques, you as an athlete will be able to reach your ultimate performance level because you know how to stop pain, even during a race or during a heavy training session!
